Job Description

Coordinate and manage the sourcing and procurement activities of a growing Indigenous Upstream Oil and Gas company. The role also includes benchmarking, contracting excellence, market intelligence and supplier management.


Key Responsibilities
The key job responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Perform market surveys and intelligence gathering to achieve competitive pricing of goods and services
Develop and maintain contractors and suppliers register
Support contracting and negotiation processes
Continuous improvement in Service delivery and Contract performance
Due Diligence /Audits of Suppliers/Contractors
Interface with Logistics and Warehouse personnel to ensure prompt delivery of goods and services
Monitor feedback reports from user groups of goods and services
Develop and implement effective Procurement planning process
Keep accurate Procurement records and send routine report to Management


Qualifications & Requirements

B.Sc/HND in Business or related fields with minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Membership of Purchasing/Procurement Professional body is an advantage
Must have worked in the Oil Industry for minimum of 2 years with proven high level of integrity

1.) Principal Masters (Grade 1)
Requirements

* Candidates must have Higher National Diploma in Nautical studies, Class II (Deck Officer) certificate of Competency or possess one of the following qualifications; Master, Near Coastal Voyage (NCV); Chief Engineer (NCV); Officer of the Watch) OOW) Navigation (NCV); River Master; Quarter Master and Four Basic Mandatory Courses.
* Candidates must have twelve (12) years working experience on board coastal vessel with a dead-weight of over 1500 tons.
* Candidates must be computer literate.

2.) Senior Masters
Requirements:

* Candidates must have at least five (5) years working experience and must possess valid certificates, documentations and current certificates of medical fitness.
* Candidates must be computer literate.

4.) Chief Navel Architects
Requirements:

* Candidates must possess a degree or equivalent in engineering plus being a graduate of Naval Architects with at least eighteen (18) years post qualification working experience with an organization involved in Marine Surveying, Ship Building. Ship Operations, Ship Repairs, ship Research and Design.
* Candidates with chartered engineer status and membership of Royal Institute of Naval Architects will be an added advantage.
* Candidates must possess valid certificates, documentations and current certificates of medical fitness.
* Candidates must be computer literate.

5.) Assistant Chief Navel Architects
Requirements:
