Our Milling Technicians Programme (MTP) is a 30-month structured, highly competitive and intensive on-the-job training in milling operations in our Mills across the country. Trainees will also be registered for the National Association of British and Irish Millers (NABIM) professional examination.

The 2011 MTP is about to take off, if you:

* aspire to a career in professional milling
* have aptitude for self development
* are an OND holder in the science or technology discipline
* are not above 22 years of age

The Job:

The appointee will be required to maintain electrical installations on board vessels and safely repair all electrical equipment as directed by the Chief Engineer.

The duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

* Repair electrical equipment
* Maintain integrity of electrical installations
* Monitor electrical insulations onboard the vessel
* Undertake fault-finding and repair electrical and electronic systems on board vessels
* Carryout any other electrical duties as required by the Chief Engineer.

Job Requirements

* Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering or Physics obtained at a minimum of Upper Credit.
* No experience required but knowledge of marine electrical installations on-board a vessel is an added advantage.
* Be a good team player with ability to work in a multicultural environment
* Be professional and able to carry out tasks with little supervision
* Not be more than 25 years old.

TRAINEE FIELD TECHNOLOGISTS – REF: TFT/11/01 (Location: Port Harcourt)

HND in Mechanical or Production Engineering, with a minimum of Upper Credit from a reputable institution

Must not be more than 27 years old with a maximum of 1-2 years post NYSC experience

Possess a minimum of 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics, Physics and English language

Knowledge of basic computer applications is essential

Must have the ability to work long and anti social hours

Must possess ability to work under pressure

PERSONNEL MANAGER – REF: PM/11/01 (Location: Port Harcourt)

Good knowledge and experience of human resource matters especially recruitment and selection, personnel administration, grievance and disciplinary procedures, and possess good management skills.

Possession of problem solving skills.

Must possess impeccable integrity with a great sense of responsibility

Proficient in verbal and written communication and a good team player

A good degree in Social Sciences. A post graduate qualification in a relevant
