JOBS OPPORTUNITY AT WATERAID NIGERIA
WaterAid is a UK registered international charity dedicated to the
provision of safe water, sanitation and hygiene education to the
world’s poorest people.

She supports local organizations to manage low
cost, sustainable projects and also provide policy support to secure
the right of poor people to affordable water and sanitation services.

WaterAid Nigeria is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of Head of Programmmes:

HEAD OF PROGRAMMES
Successful Candidate will:

1) Bring strategic leadership towards achieving the objectives of WaterAid and ensure effective implementation of our programme delivery.
2) Balance technical expertise with ability to motivate and mentor his/her team implementing partners.
3) set the direction and professional standards of this international development agency, as a member of their Senior Management Team.

The position is based in Abuja but will require regular travelling to support our work in the states, LGAs and over 40 local partner organizations and occasional travel outside the country.

REQUIREMENTS
1) Masters Degree in Hydro-geological or Water Engineering (or other relevant field).
2) Full membership of a relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
3) Strong knowledge of experimental research and advocacy to support our influencing work.
